From new product launches to U.S. production transfers.

14 weeks

From brief to first retail pallet

A direct-selling brand needed a plant-derived laundry sheet that met a national retailer’s ingredient standard. Formulation, testing and packaging trials ran in parallel.

Production transferred to Idaho

A personal care brand needed an alternative to an overseas supplier. We matched six products from retail samples, sourced domestically and transferred production to Meridian.

Private Label & Contract Manufacturing FAQs

Minimum orders, lead times and what we need to quote.

What are your minimum order quantities for private-label manufacturing?

Typical starting quantities at Intermountain Whitecat vary by format:

Bottled liquids5,000 units
Gels, pods, & tablets10,000 units
Powder & sheets25,000 units

Smaller pilot runs for new formulas are quoted separately and include a setup charge.

How long does product development and manufacturing take?

8–16 weeks

Typical custom development to a stable bench sample

This is a development milestone, not a finished-order delivery timeline.

Production follows testing and approval. Overall lead time also depends on formula readiness, packaging availability and production scheduling.

How long does a manufacturing quote take?

Quote timing depends on whether your formula, packaging and order requirements are defined. Projects requiring formulation work or additional specifications may need further review before production can be priced.

Send your project brief to begin that review.

What is the difference between your white-label, private-label and contract manufacturing services?

Our options support three starting points:

White label

Start with an existing formula for your brand.

Custom private label

Develop a formula around your product requirements.

Contract manufacturing

Evaluate and manufacture your existing formula.

The right option depends on whether you need a ready-to-brand product, custom development or a production transfer.

What household, personal and pet care products can you manufacture?

Intermountain Whitecat supports laundry care, household cleaning, personal care and pet care projects.

Share your product type, formula status and packaging format so we can assess manufacturing fit.

Can you develop a custom formula or transfer production from another manufacturer?

Yes. We can develop from a product brief, evaluate an existing formula for production transfer, or use a finished sample as a development reference.

Please do not submit confidential formulas or technical documents until an NDA is in place.

What information do you need for a manufacturing quote?

Start with:

  • Product category and formula status.
  • Estimated first-order quantity.
  • Packaging format and fill size.
  • Target delivery date.
  • Performance targets and ingredient requirements.

Nonconfidential specifications, packaging drawings or product photographs can help us assess the project.
